Dallmayr

Dallmayr means one of the best-known German brands of coffee and outstanding product and service quality with a tradition going back more than 300 years. First records of this family-run company date back to 1700 and a name Christian Reitter, a Munich merchant who operated a trading service.

The company took its name after Alois Dallmayr, though – its owner and merchant in the 19th century. Around 1900, Dallmayr became one of the best delicatessens in Europe. The company got awarded the title of purveyor to the royal court of Bavaria and could boast a list of customers which included the German imperial court and 14 other European royal houses. Now, Dallmayr employs around 3 800 people who ensure the highest quality in all areas of the business.
