Kofola. We all know it! The traditional Czech lemonade started to emerge at the end of the 50’s thanks to the team of the pharmacist Zdeněk Blažek and finally came on the market in 1960. The then government induced them to create this coke-like beverage made of Czechs and Slovak ingredients. And the magic formula he invented consisted and still consists of 14 herbal and fruit ingredients.

After 1970 Kofola gained a rock star status. 180 millions of liters produced per year only highlights its popularity. Velvet revolution brought hard times, though. They were finally overcome only after the millennium. Now, Kofola is produced by Kofola ČeskoSlovensko and its DNA is still based on respect for local brands and constant innovation.
