In honor of all Czechoslovak legionnaires who, during the First World War, showed incredible courage and determination in their fight for justice and the freedom of Czechoslovakia, we created Heffron rum. It is based on a high-quality five-year-old rum from Panama, symbolizing the long journey of the legionnaires back to their homeland across the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans — a route that also led through this Central American country. This rum offers a silky texture and a pleasantly smooth, slightly sweet yet distinctive flavor with hints of vanilla, caramel, and a woody tone from its long maturation in barrels.
